Emma recieved her A Level results, and she has recieved straight As in her 3 subjects: English Literature, Art and Geography. These are the highest grades she could recieve so she has done brilliant. We are all proud of her and would like to congratulate her! Great job Emma!

'Harry Potter' film delayed from November to next summer
In a surprise move, Warner Bros. has moved back the release date of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" from Nov. 11 to July 17, 2009.
Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley in "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince," which has been delayed until next summer.
In a statement, Warner president Alan Horn said part of the reason for the shift was the writers strike, which left the studio in a bit of a dearth of tentpoles.
"Like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of," he said. "We agreed the best strategy was to move 'Half-Blood Prince' to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer."
The studio had hoped to have movies like super-hero group "JLA" ready for the summer season, though that movie ultimately was delayed indefinitely.
Warner released the last Potter movie, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," July 11, 2007, and it became the second-largest entry from the series after the first movie.
The studio said it still plans to release the two-movie adaptation of the final book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows," as planned, with the first part still on for November 19, 2009.
"Half-Blood," which translates the sixth book to the big screen, is being directed by David Yates. According to the studio, post-production was been completed on time.

Ballet Shoes Round-Up

Things have started to appear in the U.S. promotion for Ballet Shoes! First off, the US Trailer for the movie has found it's way onto Youtube.
Also, there is an official site with theatre and booking locations for the movie - the movie comes out in limited cinemas on Augusts 26th, so don't forget to check the locations on the site. The Ballet Shoes DVD is set to be released on September 2nd, and this time with special features, including: an exclusive 20-minute interview with Emma Watson, deleted scenes, an excerpt from the Ballet Shoes audiobook (read by Elizabeth Sastre) and a limited-edition 9 x 14 mini-poster. Additionally, the film is presented with optional SDH English Subtitles.
And finally, Barnes&Noble website has an exclusive interview with Emma, where she speaks on many matters. Check it out here.

Official Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer release date

Warner Brothers have issued a press release concerning the worldwide satellite debut of the Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer. The trailer will be beamed on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 and Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 9:00 PM - 9:15 PM, EST and 6:00 AM - 6:15 AM, EST, respectively.
